Jack T. Hammer

Jack T Hammer has always been on the edge of something or another.
He had given us Freeze last year, now he is more ambiguous, but
still pushes the limits of civility and outrageousness. Some members
of ION (a group of artists) have told us that they had a hard time
pondering his natural 1his forgotten romantic soul. In Homecoming he
manages to walk a straight line - so to speak - while adventuring
        out of his comfort zone.

Jack T. Hammer

Homecoming

How many roads did Jack have to hit
Before he found out where was the ditch?
How many looking-glasses Alice had to go through
Before she found out there was a hitch?

All along the constant roaming,
...nothing but a lonesome soul.
Everlasting homecoming
Still the restless wanderer
Following his only star
Knows he’ll never go too far

How many lives for a single trip?
For a single step how many moves?
How many foolish words
to harvest a single kiss?
And for one blissful winner,
how many lose?

All along the constant roaming,
...nothing but a lonesome soul.
Everlasting homecoming
Still the restless wanderer
Following his only star
Knows he’ll never go too far

All detours and byways of intricate labyrinths
Still bring back the runner to his starting point.
All empowering drinks and poisonous prints
Couldn’t drag the pothead from his penultimate joint

How many clicks and keyboard skill will it take
to beat the hackers out of trade?
how many conmen in pulpits?
How many clones of clowns?
how many pretty puppets in uniform?

All along the constant roaming,
...nothing but a lonesome soul.
Everlasting homecoming
Still the restless wanderer
Following his only star
Knowing he’ll never go too far
